This project consists of grouping four sentimental movies and promoting a “Sentimental Collection DVD Package”. The movies selected were directed by Wong Kar-Wai, who successfully projected the liveliness of the music and city of Hong Kong in the 80s and 90s. The concept of the Sentimental Collection was inspired by the vintage imagery of the movies and use of the popping neon tones from that period. Inspirations came from the mind of the director’s work of tragic love stories portrayed through a romanticized Hong Kong background. In addition to the DVD package, promotional trailers and websites were created to bring increased attention to the release of the Sentimental Collection.
